Meet Our Permanent Fosters

SUGAR BEAR was surrendered to Romeo's with severely splayed back legs. Due to his disability, he requires specialised flooring, a low litter tray, a warming jacket in winter and a low comfy bed to support him and keep him comfortable.

CEECEE is a sweet bunny girl who's poor living conditions as a newborn has resulted in permanent damage to her tear ducts. Ceecee had a severe case of nest eye when she was rescued, which has caused permanent damage to hear tear ducts. Ceecee's eye requires constant monitoring.

SAILORMOON came to Romeo's in an extremely impaired and debilitated condition.  Her condition was so dire the team wasn't sure she would survive, but with intensive treatment Sailormoon pulled through.  Today she still struggles with a compromised immune system and has a permanent infection in her eye.

PIXIE was found living in a bird cage, with no bedding and very little food. Due to her poor living conditions and lack of proper nutrition Pixie's growth has been severely stunted. Pixie developed EC symptoms which has caused headtilt and she is unable to groom herself.

PISTACHIO, is bonded to her sibling Mango. Pistachio and Mango, who due to a condition called nest eye, have lost the use of their eyes. Pistachio also has a compromised immune system.

MOCHI is a sweet golden oldie with respiratory issues, living out her last years in comfort. Mochi requires constant monitoring to ensure her condition doesn't worsen.

SCOUT was born with impairments to both her eyes.  Due to her disability she was kept in a cage with her brother who was also blind. They were both rescued and brought to Romeo's.  Scout has had numerous health issues, including a raptured eye that needed to be removed.

SHEPHERD is a sweet boy who came to Romeo's after being found living on the streets and having to spend his days running from predators (cats).  He is a timid boy who is learning to trust.

SODA is a gorgeous boy with multiple health issues.  Soda has had teeth removed due to an abscess, has had his gallbladder drained due to a blockage and sweet Soda also only has one kidney.

TAFFY (dark) is a severely disabled bunny who has an amputated back leg, splayed front leg and possible spinal injuries.  Chockie, her brother, is a healthy tripod bunny. 

TOFU and TEMPEH are a beautiful brother pair.  Tofu has a slight disability causing him to urinate at an angle, sometimes on himself. This requires constant monitoring to ensure his skin is kept clean and healthy.

SERAPHINA is a curious girl who is terminally ill.  She has an unidentified mass that is spreading throughout her body and is inoperable.

CODY came to Romeo's as a very unwell little girl with severe symptoms of EC and unable to move all four legs.  With intensive treatment, Cody is now able to move all four her legs but still requires continuous treatment and monitoring.

JACKIE and CHARMER are an adorable pair of cashmere x bunnies, found dumped in a box.  They both have compromised eyes and ongoing issues with their eyes. Charmer has ruptured tear ducts which causes serious issues for him and requires constant monitoring.

SUGAR came to Romeo's with eyes so enlarged his eyelids were unable to close. This condition caused scaring on his eyes, and he required intensive eye treatment. The treatment has improved the condition, but Sugar has permanent damage to his eyes that require constant monitoring. 

MR CUDDLESWORTH is an older gentleman who is deaf and blind.  He is living out his retirement in luxury and loves his fan blowing on him.

HEATHER & ATARI are a mum and daughter bonded pair who came to Romeo's from an extremely neglected situation.  Due to being fed an unhealthy diet with no nutritional value they are extremely compromised bunnies who require a very specialised diet and constant monitoring.

MARIBEL is a sweet girl who had an accident which injured her spine.  Due to the injury, Maribel requires daily assistance expressing her bladder and has required a tail amputation.  Maribel is constantly being monitored for symptoms of nerve damage.

GIGI is a darling girl who has a damaged blind eye, a weepy right eye and slightly deformed back legs due to being left in a hutch.

RINGO has extremely weak joints in his front leg, which is starting to splay.  Ringo will be on chronic medication to support this condition. 

MISSY is a darling girl who has behavioural issues.  Her foster mum has been teaching her to trust again. Missy is learning that she doesn't need to attack to thrive anymore.  She is loved and is now safe.

SHERBET is a senior boy who is almost deaf and blind and is succumbing to the symptoms of old age. Sherbet is living out his retirement quietly with his bunwife, Mochi.

MARLA (black) is such a lovely girlie who has had trouble thriving.  Since bonding her to Scoot, her health has improved but she is still monitored closely as she has a severely compromised immune system.

VIOLET & IVY are a sister pair who require on going care for their ears and a quiet home as they are rather stressed bunnies.

BRANDI is a princess and lives the life of royalty.  She is a sweet little girl with a heart condition that is closely watched.

MOMOA is a sweet boy with severe headtilt.  He is closely monitored and doesn't let his condition get in his way of living his best life.

JAFFA is the sweetest little boy who we suspect has a neurological condition which causes him to do somersaults and roll over as he tries to get from A to B.  Despite his condition, Jaffa is a happy little chap.

HERO is the love of his foster mum's life.  Hero was surrendered as a newborn from a very neglectful background. This handsome boy with the upright ears is on a special diet to keep his sensitive tummy in check.

CRUMPET is a sweet gentleman who loves to cuddle with his foster mum.  He has teeth and ongoing abscess issues that need to be monitored regularly.

DAWN is a lovely little girl who unfortunately has an abnormal jawbone that requires ongoing monitoring.  She is very loved by her family and enjoys the company of her friend, Crumpet.

RAYNE & PEARL are a bonded pair.  Rayne has deformed front legs due to arthritis, and Pearly, his bunwife has splayed back legs.

Both require constant monitoring and daily supplements to assist with their mobility.

LOKI is a sweet boy, who being a lop-eared bunny has ear troubles and needs regular ear checks. Loki recently lost his brother Thor.

DOROTHY is a lovely golden oldie, who is living out her golden years in comfort.

AMBER is a dear girl who is bonded to her sister, Tinkerbell.  Amber is a very anxious girl who gets very stressed when separated from her sister.  

TINKERBELL is a sweet girl who has a splayed back leg and has a hearing problem. She is bonded to Amber, her sister.  They are inseparable.

BABY came to Romeo's with a condition called nest eye. Baby's right eye has been removed and his left eye is deformed and blind.  Baby has no sight.

FLUFFYKINS is the bunwife of Baby.  She came to Romeo's with a deformed jaw that requires regular checkups. Fluffykins and Baby have bonded and are living their best lives in the Permanent Foster Program.
