Our history
our foster carers
vision & mission
Romeo’s Rabbit Rescue, a nonprofit organization, was founded in March 2019 by Andrea Whyte. A local rescue had closed leaving behind 30 rabbits. It was then that Andrea put together a team of dedicated and passionate volunteers to help. Starting off with 30 rabbits, a “foster care – home based” rabbit and guinea pig rescue was started.

Today Romeo's Rabbit Rescue is the largest rabbit rescue in Western Australia with a mission to "rescue rehabilitate rehome educate".

We have an amazing team of foster carers who have partnered with us providing support to all the rabbits and guinea pigs in our care.
They offer the rescues in our care safe and caring homes until our rabbits and guinea pigs find their forever homes, often foster failing and adopting their fosters themselves.
